ArtistiK AmbISHons started as an open mic event for the youth in Gary and surrounding cities. We noticed that the teenagers who attended were interested in the arts, but none of them understood how to hone their craft. We also realized that they had no idea how much work must be put into the business behind their talents. We took a break from the open mic event so that we could focus on our efforts to provide something more beneficial and educational.

ArtistiK AmbISHons is on its way back, but this time it looks a lot different. We have prepared a workshop that will teach young, aspiring creatives to hone their crafts, self-advocate, know their career options, and to live their artistic dreams.
